While a background in electrical or technical trades is helpful, the EVSE Foundational Skills Series covers basic electrical theory, circuit diagrams, multimeter usage, and essential electrical safety concepts to build a solid foundation. However, advanced courses will require electrician training and certification from an accredited training program.
Logitech Energy provides specialized hands-on and technical training for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) technicians. Our curriculum is designed to prepare technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both Level 2 (AC) and DC Fast Charging equipment across multiple brands.
Logitech Energy offers two main 15-course series: EVSE Skills Series: Covers EV operation, charging standards, safety/cybersecurity, site preparation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, cable repair/replacement (NACS, CCS Type 1 & 2, CHAdeMO), and client interactions. EVSE Foundational Skills Series: Covers fundamental electrical theory (Ohm’s Law, schematics, multimeters), electrical safety (Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout, shock prevention), battery technology, DC principles, and grid basics.
You will receive practical training on both Level 2 (AC) and DC Fast Chargers (DCFC). Training covers major industry brands, including ABB, ChargePoint, BTC Power, Tritium, SK Signet, and InCharge Energy.
Yes. The program includes commissioning training across multiple software platforms as well as comprehensive troubleshooting utilizing EV software, remote actions, and firmware updates.
Yes. You will get direct training on cable repair and replacement for major standard connectors, including NACS, CCS Type 1 & 2, and CHAdeMO.
